As you sit here now, just start to breathe in the Presence of Peace. Inhale in the Spirit of Love. Breathe out any excess thoughts you have; anything that is crowding your mind. Let go of your worries, your lists, your mistakes and just be in this moment.
So many times we are focused on a goal, striving for something. We look for the next accomplishment, achievement or maybe we wallow in the last mistake. Whatever it is for you , just offer it up right now— let it float out of your mind, release your grasp and just be.
In this moment look for a sense of contentment. Look for a sense of being content in where you are RIGHT NOW! Be at peace with whatever you look like, whatever you feel like RIGHT NOW!
So many times in this world we live in we spend oodles of time picking ourselves apart in so many ways. Constantly looking to be better than we are today. But today I invite you to let that go, and know that you are where you should be RIGHT NOW!
I give you permission today to let the dishes remain in the sink. Let the laundry stay in the dryer (you can always run a fluff cycle later). Watch your children play from a safe distance. Spend an extra 5 minutes in the bathroom (sometimes a safe meditation spot, but not always I know!). Walk away from your computer. Let the next call go to voice mail. Walk outside to check the weather. Let your cell phone go to Silent.
And in these precious moments, experience each moment as if it was your first and your last. Your was and your is, in this very moment. No judgment, no place to be, no rewind, no wish for one more… JUST BE.
AND I SAY IT AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND (three times a charm)AGAIN—— just be.
