Today you burst through the door to hug me first, before your brother could get to me..Today you asked for water to help calm your soul.Today you reminded me that you are just me, and I am just you. So together we can choose to make one hot mess, or one happy bundle of love…“I love you and I thank you for being my child”.
Sometimes we believe that have no choice in our circumstances. Sometimes we think that our challenges in life are just thrust upon us. What if we were to look at it a different way though? …I was given the idea a month ago by a friend, colleague, and mentor, to use the ancient Hawaiian practice of Ho’oponopono to find love inside me for all, and to take responsibility for the creation of the world that I live in to make it the best it can be…
At the end of the year though, to my surprise, one of my school colleagues gave me a plaque that quoted a line from Shakespeare; “…Above all else to thy own self be true.” I read it and I am urged to just Be who I was always meant to Be. …and I know it Now- vividly and pointedly. I know who I am. I know my role on earth. I know how I am to proceed with my life.
Have you ever had a moment where you could look around in every direction and see how it all fit together? Every moment in your life…… Whew!…. I don’t have to hold the Universe up anymore.
She is Light. She is Air. She is Beauty… And you are blessed to have known her.

Sometimes I imagine myself as a superhero. Truthfully, I always wanted, and even sorta believed that I was Wonder Woman. I loved her. I used to take the styrofoam wrappers from the bottoms of old-school glass soda bottles and wrap them around my wrists, fashion a cape out of the afghan from the living room, put on my Wonder Woman bathing suit, and spin endlessly in the yard until I felt dizzy and could see stars.
