Just Be…

So when I think about how often I am encompassed in the “Doing” of life, I remind myself of the idea that all we are asked to “Do” is Just Be.  We aren’t asked to change the world.  We aren’t asked to end war.  We aren’t asked to work our fingers to the bone.  We aren’t asked to stress out about what our children will be when they grow up.   We aren’t asked to recreate the wheel.  All we are given to do in our life is to Be.

What if we just tried that.  What if we really decided to “…Be the change we want to see.” ; as Ghandi stated.  What if we decided to “Be the hands and feet”, as Jesus taught.  What if we committed to Being models of Peace and Joy for our kids.  What if we could Just Be.

Do you think that the concerns of the day to day might fade a bit?  Do you think we could create a revolution of peace if we were the instruments of Being?  Do you think that world change would occur on its own if more of us just decided to Be?

I think so.  So today’s challenge is to Just Be.

That’s it, nothing more—- Just Be.

It is your choice.

Be or Do.  You choose.
