Sometimes I think people are surprised that I am so private. When they meet me they see the external me. They see that I can talk to truly anyone. I can inject my personality into all sorts of situations and feel comfortable, but I really love my privacy. It even seems funny to me as I write this to say that I love my privacy. I mean really- I am writing a blog and telling people my innermost thoughts and even some everyday struggles. This portion of me is not fake either; I really love to meet people and share a story. I love to interact and even attend a great party! But there is always a point where I need to draw back and reserve my energy, call it back into my center and decompress.
I have thought about this a lot, and I have come to the conclusion that sometimes we all just need to fly under the radar a bit. When I feel disconnected from my spiritual self, when I feel worn out or used up a bit, when I think I can’t quite think straight. These are the cues to me that I have exceeded my maximum social potential. These are the times that I go inward.
Flying under the radar has brought many reactions from others. Some are offended, some are confused, some are knowing, many are respecting. Most importantly I have found that when I come back to my center- alone, I find my Truth, I re-define my purpose, I rejuventate my mind and my strength, I find the Peace that is my sanity and the way I thrive in this busy world.
So if you are feeling depleted today from more than enough social sagas, then try a bit of down time, a time to breathe in peace, breathe out the world around you, and just be under the radar.
Happy Flying!
